About Us
The Ocean County Cancer Coalition is a community-wide collaborative effort to reduce cancer mortality and morbidity in Ocean County by increasing awareness of, access to, and advocacy for cancer education, prevention, treatment and after care programs and services.
As Ocean County Providers, organizations and individuals who are interested in cancer and the needs related to cancer in the county, the coalition seeks to involve all major stakeholders to determine the overall priorities, goals and objectives as related to cancer and to develop and implement a county-specific comprehensive cancer plan.
Our Goals:
To increase cancer awareness, education, outreach and access in Ocean County, including medically underserved populations and older adults.
To support a collaborative effort, built upon mutual trust, to implement the New Jersey Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan in Ocean County.
